Preparing for a tattoo appointment

The best way to prepare for your tattoo appointment is to keep well-hydrated by drinking water and be sure you have eaten a good meal at least a few hours before your appointment.

You are welcome to bring a drink and snack along with you. We also have a small variety of refreshments at the shop. We recommend keeping your water intake to at least 6 glasses of water a day while you're healing, too, as it helps speed the process.

Rest up! A well-rested body is better able to tolerate discomfort than a tired one.

Feel free to bring your own music. Should you wish, a friend may accompany you during the experience, especially if it's your first tattoo. Service dogs are also welcome.

Bodily comfort is an important.phpect in the art of holding still - we do our best to accommodate your needs. Remember that you wear your wiggles; so being well-fed, hydrated, and rested means you are better prepared to hold still while your artist is at work!

We provide you with aftercare instructions in person and we also give you a copy to take home with you. Should you have any questions or concerns about the healing process, please feel free to ask us questions at the time of your appointment, or give us a call anytime during shop hours.

*Should you have allergies to adhesives or other products that you may come in contact with during your tattoo procedure, please inform your artist before the appointment begins. We have a range of bandages, including non-adhesive options, and aftercare ointments for many different skincare needs and sensitivities. We only use nitrile gloves - no latex!
